Glossary
The words the app uses, in one place — what a blocked task, a recipe, a run, or a managed task means when you meet it in a list.
Tasks and lists
- Priority score
- The number that orders your list. Importance and urgency you set, pushed up by deadline pressure as a due date nears or passes.
- Blocked
- A task waiting on another unfinished task, or hidden until a time you chose. Blocked tasks are marked in the list.
- After
- A soft ordering hint — "do this after that" — without marking anything blocked.
- Subtask
- A child task under a parent. Tags on the parent flow down, and the list shows the most specific ones.
Automation
- Workflow recipe
- A reusable process: the ordered stages a task goes through.
- Workflow run
- One task going through a recipe, shown as a short live checklist of its current steps.
- Action, wait, and event steps
- The three step kinds: actions become tasks, waits hold until a time, events wait for a signal or for you.
- Coding workflow
- The built-in recipe for feature work: interview, spec, implement, review, merge.
- Agent pane
- The assistant beside your lists. It works in the same database, so its results arrive as real tasks.
Sync and extensions
- Mini-app
- A purpose-built pane, such as travel checklists, that writes ordinary tasks into your lists.
- Managed task
- A task owned by a mini-app or integration, marked with a lock. Only its completion can be changed.
- Repeat rule
- A recurrence attached to a task — daily, weekly, or monthly — that generates each new occurrence.
- Combo
- A named list of provider/model pairs the agent tries in order when one fails before producing output.
